Skype has finally released a new version of Skype (Skype 2.0) that will allow users to make and receive VoIP calls over 3G.

Skype 2.0 also brings near CD-quality sound for Skype-to-Skype calls using wideband audio (SILK codec) to iPhone 3GS and 2nd generation iPod touch.

Folks at SuperPhone.cz, who are claiming to have received parts of the next generation iPhone have confirmed that Apple’s new iPhone screen will be running at a resolution of 960×640.

They apparently figured it out by putting the screen of the next generation iPhone under a microscope.

For a long time, Apple has maintained that their foray into the television segment is just a "hobby". However, according to a recent Engadget report, Cupertino may well be on course to chart an effective reentry into the home entertainment space.

The sources have revealed that the next generation Apple TV may bring all of Apple's mobile offerings to the television; something the source claims will make the new device look like "an iPhone without a screen".
